Today wasn't a sketching day. Today was a coloring day. I pulled out my pastels and started shading in my sketch from the other day. I'm trying to not use any solid lines, to make the faces softer (since you don't really see solid lines on people when you stare at them. Anyhoo, I kinda like the way this is going. And obviously it's not anywhere near done. I've got a range of colors going that may seem pale in comparison to the eyes, but then I haven't filled in her hair and eyebrows, and while she has dark eyes and hair, she also has a fairly pale complexion. I'll stretch out the range if need be, but too dark at first, and there's no way to back it off. :-)
